“Although it may get less shine from the national press than its Bayside neighbors Berkeley and Oakland, Richmond has the secret advantage of being the East Bay’s best hidden gem, with 32 miles of waterfront (more than any other city in the Bay Area), 13-plus art centers and museums, easy access to nature, and that under-the-radar, underdog feel that makes it reminiscent of Oakland 20 years ago.”

About Marina Bay
Marina Bay is a beautiful residential waterfront community in Richmond with apartments, condominiums, townhouses and houses, which is also home to many retail and light-industry businesses. The area hosts an 850-berth marina and one of the few yacht clubs in the East Bay that offer monthly memberships and sailing lessons (The Tradewinds Sailing Club). Adjacent to the Rosie the Riveter national historic park, it is on the San Francisco Bay Trail, providing hiking and biking opportunities. Near shopping, restaurants, freeways and BART, this area represents an incredible value at an inexpensive price.
The newly-launched (January, 2019) ferry service boasts a stress-free 35-minute ferry commute to San Francisco via the ferry terminal adjacent to Marina Bay.
Marina Bay represents one of the best values in the Bay Area. Many properties feature lush patios or view balconies, fireplaces and in-unit washer and dryer. With trails and greenbelt close by – and that amazing 35-minute ferry ride – it’s a perfect area for commuters.
