The decision whether or not to sell or purchase a home during the current market / shelter-in-place can be confusing. They’re less comfortable, however, hosting an open house. This is understandable, given the health concerns associated with social contact these days – and actually may not be permitted in many locations. However, there are many alternatives.
What kind of security does Rossmoor Walnut Creek provide?
Rossmoor’s 1800 acres and approximately 6400 units are located within a gated, limited access community; access is limited to residents and their guests.
Rossmoor is fully gated & staffed, 24-hours a day, seven days a week. The Securitas company provides Rossmoor security within the Rossmoor community. Security services include entrance control at the main gate, regular motorized vehicle patrol of the Rossmoor community, assistance by Emergency Medical Technicians, and response to emergency and non-emergency requests for service and assistance.
I have been receiving calls from past clients as well as customers via my rossmoortour.com website about the real estate market in Rossmoor. The market is paused at the moment with very little activity taking place as both home sellers and home buyers stay at home and shelter in place. Initially we had a few sales underway when the shelter in place was announced. Under the “essential business” exception to the shelter-in-place (SIP), it made sense to allow people who had sold their home and purchased a replacement home to complete those transactions underway at the time of the order, but most of those transactions have now closed escrow.
