Rossmoor has 19 different Homeowners’ Associations (HOA) that are called Mutuals. The Mutuals are nonprofit corporations created to manage the Common Interest Developments (CID). Each Mutual has a board of directors that establishes policies and rules and sets budgets to maintain the property.

Rossmoor has a great trail system for all levels and the Trails Club offers a variety of hikes every Wednesday and Saturday, and a walk around the golf courses on Mondays. Hikers are divided into four groups. Generally, Amblers hike three to five miles at a moderate pace with up to 500-foot-elevation gain.
